This week’s election will return Donald Trump to the White House and hand majority control of the Senate to the GOP. Control of the House is still being determined. If Republicans maintain control of the House, the incoming Trump administration may be able to enact sweeping legislative changes to federal higher education policy with profound consequences for institutions and students. Even without full congressional control, the new administration is sure to reverse a series of Biden regulations and adopt a more confrontational stance toward colleges on issues including funding, free speech, campus governance, and DEI. This webinar will provide a first look at the likely consequences of the political seachange in Washington for colleges and universities.
